Former President Donald Trump on Wednesday reinforced his previous statement about Haitian immigrants eating the pets of Ohio locals, Reuters I mentioned.

Trump’s controversial stance on immigrants was a prominent feature of his bold rhetoric. He recently emphasized falsely accusing immigrants of eating people’s pets, which received widespread criticism, especially after his recent debate with his Democratic rival, Kamala Harris.

Ohio officials, including Republicans, have repeatedly made clear that there is no clear evidence to prove Trump’s claims.

While addressing a town hall hosted on Spanish-language television UnivisionTrump said: “I was just saying what was reported… and also addressing other things that were not supposed to be. All I am doing is reporting, I was there, I will be there and we will be.” We’ll take a look.”

Without identifying sources, Trump claimed that some “newspapers” had confirmed this claim as well.

Trump, who has not yet traveled to Springfield, previously announced that he would carry out mass deportations of Haitian immigrants from the Ohio city.

“I’m angry at the illegal Haitian immigrants taking over Springfield, Ohio. You see this mess, right?” Trump said at a rally in Las Vegas.

After Trump’s questionable and unsubstantiated claims surfaced, the Ohio city faced bomb threats.

Moreover, Trump has evaded answering more questions about immigrants regarding immigrants who do intensive, hard agricultural labor, and whose deportation could lead to skyrocketing food prices.

Instead, he kept repeating over and over that “African Americans and Hispanic Americans are losing their jobs because of illegal immigration.”

Notably, Latino voters traditionally support Democrats, but the Trump campaign is seeking to win them over as Harris leads Trump by eight percentage points from 47% to 39% among Hispanic voters as shown in her polls. Reuters/Ipsos.
