CAINTA, Rizal – A 16-year-old bowler showed how to be a real star in the ongoing 26th Sta. Lucia East Tenpin Bowling Association (Sletba) – Liza Zapanta Open Championships.
Renz Rodriguez of the Fairview Dragons Bowling Association led Friday’s 7-game Mixed Rising Stars division final, letting no one get close to him after posting a score of 253 in his first game.

Rodriguez finished the 7 games with a score of 1,389, well ahead of Emz Salvador of the Davao Tenpin Bowling Association, who finished second with 1,335 points.
ACTBA’s Socrisar Guese came third with 1,308 points, followed by Sletba members Anton de Guzman with 1,289 and Joy Luces with 1,287.
The annual tournament sanctioned by the Philippine Bowling Federation (PBF) is held at the Sta. Lucia East Grand Mall Bowling Center in Cainta, Rizal.

The final began on Friday with the Mixed Rising Stars games taking place. The final of the Mixed Classified Masters is currently underway.
The other divisions are the Men’s Senior Associate Masters, the Men’s Senior Open Masters, the Ladies’ Classified Masters, the Mixed Youth Masters and the Mixed Open Masters, in which players from the national team will take part.
