But the guard out of Mapua got an opening, and with that followed his luck.

“But the ball landed in my hands and I had the green light to shoot. I took a chance and all I want to do is to help Terrafirma. Luckily, by God’s grace, my shots went in,” he said.
Terrafirma failed to get its first win in the import-laden conference after three games, but that didn’t change the fact that Hernandez is gaining confidence game by game.

But despite his recent number, Hernandez is still looking for ways to improve his game.
“I’m always looking for improvements. I’m never content. Maybe I played well today because they trusted me and I was given the green light. I just pay back the trust that the team gave me,” he said.
