Jennifer Lopez gives an inside glimpse into motherhood, revealing why women hide their struggles from their children during the film’s screening in London.

The 55-year-old American actress, who recently attended the London premiere of Ben Affleck’s upcoming film Unstoppable At Cineworld Leicester Square, she opened up about playing the “younger character” in the film.

Speaking of the “challenges”, JLo revealed that the film is “very relatable” to women going through turbulent relationships.

Jennifer expressed her pride in playing the role of Judy, the mother of wrestling champion Anthony Robles, who overcame the odds of being born with one leg to become a champion and author, and credited his mother’s “unstoppable” spirit for his success.

“I think a lot of women have been through that, and she and I have talked a lot,” she said of her long-awaited role.

“We’ve gotten to know each other. I wanted her to feel really safe with me (while) sharing details, because as great as the story is, without conflict, that’s what makes it great.”

The mother-of-two lifted the lid on hiding things from children, as she continued, explaining: “There was a completely different story where she lived, and that you hide from your children, and you protect your children from that.

“But I thought it was really important to not only play the mother that the kids knew, but to play the woman who raised those kids.”

Being a mother, the multi-hyphenate star described it as a beautiful experience.
