Barangay Ginebra turned Sunday’s PBA Governors’ Cup final into a best-of-three game after the Gin Kings finally showed what they had failed to do in the first three games of the series, namely, crushing their opponents offensively.
The Kings cruised to a 106-92 win in front of a large crowd at the Smart Araneta Coliseum after shooting 56 percent from the field on timely outside shots, while the Tropang Giga were able to rally virtually all night.

Fajardo had 989 points compared to Aguilar’s 664, achieving a record-breaking 11th BPC. His 465 points from statistics, the top among candidates, was also supported by 476 media votes, while he came second in player votes with 48.
