Days of Our Lives legend Wayne Northroporiginal Roman BradyHe passed away last week. And today we’re looking at his life, his legacy, and the touching tributes from his DOOL co-stars and wife Lynn Herring’s General Hospital co-stars.
Lynn shared the news that she lost her beloved husband, Wayne. He passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at the age of 77. At the time of his death, Wayne Northrop was in the care of the Motion Picture and Television Home.
His wife announced six years ago in 2018 that Wayne was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s. It was the complications of the disease that took his life. “Wayne took his last breath in the arms of his family,” Lynn said.
Wayne Northrop played Roman Brady on Days of Our Lives from 1981 to 1984. He later returned to the role of Roman from 1991 to 1994. In addition to DOOL, Wayne also starred on the big screen with his wife, Lynn Herring, in its spin-off series.
