Beijing: Chinese President Xi Jinping on Tuesday called for mobilizing forces to advance reform in a steady and sustainable way, while addressing senior officials attending a central study session at the Party School.
Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, made the remarks at the opening of the study session at the Party School under the CPC Central Committee (National Academy of Governance) for senior officials at the prefecture and ministry levels.
The session will consider ways to implement the guidelines of the Third Plenum of the 20th CPC Central Committee, which put forward a new package of comprehensive reforms for the country.
Xi said that China’s efforts to advance reforms on all fronts in the new era have achieved substantial results across practical, institutional and theoretical dimensions, which represents one of the most important chapters in the country’s reform and opening-up journey.
