ABU DHABI (UAE): The second season of the Pakistanis In Dubai Women-Only Badminton Tournament, organized by Pakistanis in Dubai (PID), concluded with great success, showcasing the talent and spirit of the Pakistani women’s community in Dubai. PID, the largest Pakistani social media group in the UAE, consistently organizes diverse events to keep the community engaged and make the group a valuable resource for its members. The group strongly believes in women’s participation across all fields and is committed to providing platforms for ladies to demonstrate their talents and skills, ultimately empowering them.
In this tournament, Saman Nawaz clinched first place, followed by Qurrat Ul Ain Sabahat in second and Faiza Liaquat in third. The organizers emphasized that participation and enthusiasm were the true measures of success, encouraging all players to continue practicing and maintaining their positive attitudes. The event was made possible through the support of sponsors Task Sports and Masooma Hassan, with special recognition given to Farzana Mansoor for announcing a celebratory lunch for the winners and attending the event. Artist Soobika Jamal Alvi was also acknowledged for her contribution of resin artwork featuring PID logos.
